Llegar al Lower East Side River se puede hacer de dos maneras, coger la salida del autopista FDR (Franklyn D. Roosevelt) que conecta la isla de Manhattan desde el Bronx hasta Battery Park en su lado este o bien parar en Canal St (pleno corazon de Chinatown) con las lineas 6, W o E.
En pleno corazon de Manhattan, esta zona bastante desconocida de Nueva York es un lugar perfecto para pasear y tomar fotos increibles de dos de los mas famosos puentes que conectan los condados de Brooklyn y Manhattan, el puente de Manhattan (izquierda) y el Puente de Brooklyn (derecha)
Si bien el puente de Brooklyn es el mas conocido, yo le encuentro bastante encanto al de Manhattan, pintado en azul y blanco, la verdad no se puede apreciar mucho durante la noche. Lo que si se puede ver e impresiona de verdad es el ver pasar debajo de la carretera todos los trenes del metro que conecta con Brooklyn, tiene ese aire de serie policiaca de los 80.
El codigo Da Vinci lleva ya metido hasta en la sopa desde hace casi un mes, aqui cartelon de despidiendo Manhattan anunciando la famosa pelicula.
Zona muy tranquila, buenas fotos, carriles bici y algun que otro pervertido, eso es quizas lo unico que perturbo una noche que se dibujaba perfecta. Si eres china y tienes buen culito ten cuidado, este obseso anda suelto por ahi....
